CAUK member Wendy Wren has written a book about her experiences of #cavernoma and #chronic illness – we think you’re going to love it!
Wendy has been so kind as to mention CAUK in her book and has decided to donate equal proportions of the sale of her book to CAUK and Cruse Bereavement Care.
Wendy has a 6mm #cavernoma in her parietal lobe suffers from #migraine headaches, electric shots, tingling and altered sensation, word muddling and temperature issues.
Her brand new book “focuses on the relationship between bereavement, trauma and chronic ill health. It looks at strategies, all types of relationships and new norms. It covers themes like work relationships, helping others, trauma, gut health, professional relationships, delayed diagnosis, validity, living with a chronic illness and positive confluent relationships. The strategies within it are very clear and I believe they would be helpful, to someone living with a chronic illness.”
